Alberta Kennel Club: The purpose of the AKC is to promote the betterment and welfare of purebred dogs by encouraging responsible breeding and ownership as well as sportsmanlike conduct.
Alberta MEOW Foundation: A society that rescues and adopts homeless cats. MEOW stands for Make Each One Wanted. This site also contains some valuable information about caring for your cat.
All Bright Dogs: Calgary's newest dog facility! All Bright Dogs offers obedience training, grooming by professionals or do it yourself grooming areas, as well as a daycare service.
Calgary Wildlife Rehabilitation Society: Contains information on what to do and who to contact if you find orphaned or injured wildlife in your area. Also contains volunteer and sponsorship information.
Calgary Humane Society: Contains information on adopting pets, cremation service, volunteer activity, animal concerns and more.
Calgary Zoo: News and information on the Zoo's ongoing projects and programs, including conservation projects, school and public programs, the Prehistoric Park and the Botanical Gardens.
Canadian Kennel Club: The Canadian Kennel Club is the primary registry body for purebred dogs in Canada. They set the standards for Canadian dog breeders in accordance to the Animal Pedigree Act.

F.R.F.A. - Feline Rescue Foundation of Alberta: Contains news and information about the Foundation's ongoing work in rescuing, rehabilitating and adopting out homeless cats.
